Even if you're not afraid to dig into a transfer case, assembling Lefty requires a shop press and assorted special gear pullers. For this phase of the transfer-case build, we called on Jay Parodi at PDC Motorsports in Brea, California. Lefty replaces the third (counting from the back) layer of the transfer case, so everything in the way needs to be disassembled and set aside in an orderly fashion. Jay first pulled the rear drive flange. An air-powered impact wrench made it easy.
