The second bearing was tougher. In the stock case, this roller bearing slips into the case and is retained with a snap ring. It is a press fit into Lefty and is further secured with two bolts. Jay froze the bearing and heated up the case using an acetylene torch. It's important to keep the torch moving and not overheat any one area. The case at the bottom of the bore is very thin, so it's important not to overheat it or damage it by pounding or pressing against the thin section at the bottom of the bore.
