Needed Protection For Us
It came down to the final days before our Pismo trip, and we had been putting off getting a new rollcage for our Polaris RZR for some time. But it could not wait any longer; we were going to be spending the weekend in Pismo Sand Dunes, and our RZR has been rolled enough times that we really didn't trust the rollcage at all anymore (dents and such). We had our eyes on an RZR Radius Rollcage from Rigid Industries, but they were in Arizona, and we were leaving in three days for the trip. Thanks to our notorious publisher's brother, Jon Dahlin, who was coming out for the trip all way the way from Flagstaff, Arizona, we got our Rigid rollcage delivered to us right at camp.
It has six points where it ties onto the frame, and is an aesthetically much more pleasing cage than some others we've seen on the market. You'll notice that Rigid uses a radius bend on the top bars of the rollcage instead just flat tubes on the top. Though it really doesn't affect structural integrity one way or another, it definitely enhances the look of the rollcage. We were able to get the rollcage onto our RZR in about 45 minutes and before the weekend started.
