How'd We Like It?
For the first time in more than a year, we were able to get out into the mud in Sothern California. Rain is so rare around here that it makes it difficult to get into some goo. We landed straight in it with our 5.9 test mule though, and definitely found some big ruts, muddy trails, and even some mini mudpits to flex out and break in the new suspension with. Though we've seen R.E. ZJ short-arm kits work before, we are always amazed at the amount of flex they get while still keeping the control arms in the stock locations. The ride was a bit stuff though, due to the heavy duty nitrogen-charged shocks. We like it a little on the stiff side but if you don't then try ordering the kit with the standard gas-charged shocks.
