The construction of the Eaton ELocker is impressive; it's a very solid unit. Each ELocker includes a bulkhead fitting (shown on wires) that installs in the housing so the ELocker can be powered. The ELocker use an electromagnetic locking mechanism and performs as an open differential until activated via a push button switch. When locked it acts as a full locker would with all torque channeled to both wheels.
