It seems to never get old for enthusiasts; one of the very first mods to happen to any vehicle (new or old) when purchased seems to be the replacement of the air intake.

K&N Engineering basically started the game of aftermarket air filters, and still remains the majority leader. We tried out a K&N Super Duty 6.0L air-intake system to see if they were still living up to their reputation of quality, and we weren't disappointed. The K&N intake went on in less than half an hour and we were content knowing that a lack of air would not be the bane to our diesel engine's efficiency.
