The width added by the link mount skid plates means a longer bolt is needed. There's a 9/16-inch grade 8 bolt included with the skid plate that replaces the factory 14mm bolt. These sizes are within 0.011 inches of each other, but you might need to drill out the factory bolt holes on the frame to 9/16-inch as I did. You won't need to drill the misalignment spacers inside the Heim joint. The 9/16-inch bolt will also fit through the factory lower link's mounting eye, so you can use these link mount skid plates with factory links.
