The days of worrying about blowing up your engine by adding a supercharger or turbo to your truck are over. New kits like this one from Edelbrock are 50-state legal and carry a three-year or 36,000-mile warranty. Peace of mind and a ton more horsepower are now possible to combine in the same sentence. Our test of the new E-Force system was conducted on a 2010 Ford F-150 2wd truck running a 5.4L V-8 engine. This kit is available for all '04-to-'10 F-150 trucks with the 5.4L engine. An optional 4WD hardware kit is available relocating the oil filter to clear the front differential should you need it.

The E-Force system provides instant, reliable, and safe horsepower with low boost for minimum stress on the engine. The core of each system is the Eaton Gen VI 2300 TV S Supercharger rotating assembly. Eaton's assembly features a four-lobe design with 160 degrees of twist for maximum flow, minimum temperature rise and quiet operation for excellent drivability. The supercharger assembly has been integrated into the intake manifold for a seamless design with minimal components, eliminating the possibility of vacuum leaks between gasket surfaces. The inverted supercharger assembly is uniquely oriented, allowing for an incredible amount of intake runner length for maximizing low-end torque. An integrated bypass valve helps eliminate parasitic loss under light throttle for improved mileage potential.
