Hitch Receiver

A 2-inch strap will usually fit inside a hitch receiver, but when used hard can result in bending the hitch pin, making it difficult to remove. A better bet is usually to use a plug in hitch slug that can accept a screw pin shackle or D-ring. As with any other fiber product, a recovery strap can experience wear due to dirt trapped in it. Sand and grit work to slowly erode the strap material, so it's a good idea to occasionally wash your strap if it gets really dirty.
