27. Along with the aluminum intake manifold, the Edelbrock water pump saves quite a bit of weight compared to the porky cast-iron parts. Aluminum engine parts are common today, but back in the day cast iron was standard issue. Edelbrock's aluminum foundry is still in the USA. The power steering pump brackets for this engine aren't stock, so they need to be modified a little before they'll bolt up to the water pump.
