The last thing we did was hook up the Superlift Bulletproof brake hoses and bleed the system. We’re getting a little colorful behind the wheel of our Super Duty with red calipers, yellow brake lines, and blue coilovers so we might have to do some color-matching in the future, but the rainbow in the wheel well was well worth the added stopping ability. It took about 40 miles of stop-and-go traffic to break in the brake pads and feel a difference, but after that there was a definite braking improvement. We’ll give you a long-term update in the magazine on the new V8 kit once we get a few thousand miles on them.
