The Baja Designs Kwik Jak HD

When it comes to backcountry jacks, most are either bulky or slow. Some are both. We’ve discovered a new jack from Baja Designs that’s beautifully constructed, lightweight, and lightning fast.

The Baja Designs Kwik Jak HD is the bigger brother to the original Kwik Jak. The HD model has a wider base for greater stability in soft terrain, and it has a longer stroke so it can lift further. Even with its heavy-duty construction, the U.S.-made Kwik Jak HD weighs in at a svelte 8-1/2 pounds. It’s easy to store in your rig, and it’s easy to handle when the time comes to use it.

Power for the Kwik Jak HD comes from CO2, and you can either plumb it to your Power Tank using fittings from Baja Designs or to a 20-ounce CO2 bottle that’s commonly used in the paintball world. Baja Designs also stocks the 20-ounce bottles, valves, connectors, and hoses. Follow along for a closer look at the Kwik Jak HD. It’s “slik, kwik, and lite.”
