3. Deconstructing the frontend consists of placing the frame on jackstands and supporting each lower A-arm with a floor jack. The shock and upper A-arm is removed on each side. It took a bit of work to get the upper ball joints to pop free of the knuckle. Brake lines and wheel speed sensors lines have to be moved out of the way to replace the upper arm. We found the process could be completed without having to release the torsion bars.
