Sometimes you need a truck top or shell on the bed of your truck to help keep your gear safely stowed, but sometimes you need no top to handle large equipment or motorcycles. With most hard shells it can be difficult to remove them by yourself and when removed you need a place to store the shell. Aimed at solving this age-old dilemma, the company Softopper has developed the best of both worlds: a collapsible truck top that’s there when you need it and gone when you don’t.
The Softopper features a rear, removable, heat-sealed, vinyl window, heavy-duty No. 10 YKK zippers, Sunguard thread used throughout its construction, and a heavy-duty, light-weight aluminum frame. An optional rear mesh window kit is also available
In addition to being compatible with the Honda Ridgeline, the Softopper is available for Ford, Chevy, GMC, Nissan, Toyota, Dodge, Mazda, Isuzu, and other popular brand trucks. Available colors are black, charcoal, and tan.
The top is manufactured with a premium automotive convertible topping, which consists of an exterior grade woven fabric with a UV-stabilized PVC coating for water resistance. It has been proven against, wind, rain, snow, sunlight, fading, mildew, and rot — and it will remain beautiful for years. It is also the chosen fabric used by many major OEM convertible manufacturers.
The Softopper collapses forward to store behind the cab, allowing for unrestricted visibility and access to the bed. It comes with everything you need — including a rear removable window, mounting clamps, and bedrail weather stripping — for a quick and complete installation.
