The solid front axle is pretty stout, but unless you do a spring-over-axle lift with a high steer kit, it’s still just a heavy golf cart you can drive on the road. The lack of power steering makes it difficult to maneuver off-road, especially with larger tires. The nice thing about the Samurai is when it breaks down you can easily push it home, since it’s so light.
