We highlight a lot of great 4x4 trails and destinations in 4WHEEL DRIVE MAGAZINE, and though we see this sort of action on a fairly regular basis, it’s easy to understand that most can only enjoy this sort of activity a few times a year or less, usually in a daily driver vehicle.

The Rugged Terrain T/A’s pavement performance translates to greater fuel mileage for the drive to work while still being capable of impressive traction for most ’wheeling environments on the weekends.

Fuel is expensive and vacation time is short, so quite often a mud-terrain or even an all-terrain tire isn’t ideal for that daily-driver 4x4 that seldom sees dirt. This is why the BFGoodrich Rugged Terrain T/A exists.

Designed to fill the void between all-terrain tires and OE fitment all-season tires the Rugged Terrain T/A offers less rolling resistance and reduced noise compared to an all-terrain but still packs plenty of punch when it comes to tackling dirt roads, loose rock trails, and even mud to some extent. The aggressive looks aren’t just for show. This tire really works.
