TreadWright makes every attempt to use matching cores with each set of tires it sells. Our cores seemed to match up. We spent some time trying to see if we could identify what the core used to be but didn’t have any luck. If you live local to TreadWright’s Hot Springs, South Dakota, manufacturing facility, you can provide your own cores so you know exactly what’s under the new TreadWright tread. The company carries out a strict inspection process before each core is selected, though, so you should be satisfied with the end result regardless of what brand the core was in its first life.
