Snatch Straps

Here are 2- and 3-inch-wide snatch straps. Thinner straps will stretch more for a given pull tension and thicker straps will stretch less. As such, a lighter vehicle will want to use a thinner strap to ensure it can get sufficient stretch given its weight. Fullsize rigs will often find that a 3-inch-or-larger strap will work well without excessive stretching or weak elastic return for their heavier weight. Regardless of the strap width used, most manufacturers fold over the strap at the end eyelets to make it smaller to fit easily on an attachment point.
