Mac’s includes Strap-Wraps with the Ultra Pack package because the straps need to be secured and not flapping in the wind while you’re trailering a vehicle. The Strap-Wraps also help prevent the ratcheting mechanism from somehow opening while the trailer is moving. Notice how our front straps are crossed and our rear ones are not (crossed). While we’ve heard different theories on proper tow methods, we believe the rear straps should be pulled straight to the axle and not at an angle to ensure the maximum strength against forward movement in a braking situation. We cross the front straps to minimize lateral movement.
