The 1⁄2 inch Puvex hose is flexible and easy to cut. Just be sure to cut it cleanly and with a squared off end. It is also comically easy to slip into the push-to-connect fittings, and they don’t leak. If you are running an onboard air system like this, you will greatly benefit from some kind of air tank. You want a tank that is at a minimum 1 or 2 gallons, but bigger is better. Our 5-gallon Firestone tank from Summit racing will hold lots of air and helps our tool truck quickly air up large tires and even run air tools out in the boonies. Here you can see the Puvex hose, push-to-connect fittings, water/oil separator, and the 5-gallon tank.
