The headers from Novak cling pretty tightly to our ’84 even-fire Buick V-6. We were a little worried about the driver-side header clearing a rod end that we are using as a pillow block in our power steering system, but we were able to lower the rod end a little and ended up with more than 1⁄4-inch of clearance between the steering shaft and the header. Also, our Jeep still has frame-mounted pedals. The driver-side header also easily clears our master cylinder.
