Our ’49 Willys CJ-3A’s exhaust was less than ideal. A set of fenderwell headers tied into two pipes that ran along each of the framerails, turned in just behind the front of the rear leaf springs and turned to the back again, ran through a huge two-into-one muffler and finally a turn down. The tubes along the frame were constantly on the losing end of meetings with rocks.
