Think shock boots went out with the ’80s? Think again. A lot of racers are running these coil-over-shock covers to protect the polished shock shafts from gravel spray. Many run them on the front as protection from the car in front of them, and in the rear to protect from rocks and gravel thrown up by their own front tires.
