Here's the cheapest "injection" you'll ever buy. The Rochester Q-Jet can be picked up in decent condition for about $15, treated to a $15 rebuild kit, and will run your rig at dizzying angles. We spotted this Q-Jet in a '70s GM pickup, but don't forget to check old Dodge pickups and vans. The Q-Jet has the same spreadbore bolt pattern as the Dodge Thermoquad carburetors, which sometimes proved troublesome to keep tuned. We saw a 318- and a 360-powered Dodge van the day we were there sporting Q-Jets where the factory Thermoquads used to reside.
