Trasborg uses this monster aluminum ammo case to hold luggage when going on trips with any of the trucks. Empty, it weighs 55 pounds. Filled for the trip to Easter Jeep Safari, it weighed in at around 300 pounds. Even sliding the big metal box in and out of the bed fully loaded didn’t damage the liner at all. As of this writing we’ve had a couple of axles, a transmission, and some other parts in the truck with no tearing up or ripping like we’d have had from a roll-on kit. We were able to finally get a little section to pull up by forcing the 300-pound metal box into one of the raised corrugations in the bed floor. However, even picking up one end of a rear axle and dragging the drum over the liner didn’t faze it. And, after a few months in the hot SoCal sun, we haven’t seen any fading, flaking, or any other UV-related problems.
