After doing some math and getting a headache, we settled on the 63-quart fridge. It has a lower overall height than the 50-quart one you have probably already seen, yet still fits nicely in the back of a Jeep. We added the ARB fridge slide for easy access and wrapped the fridge in a transit bag. The new fridges are made from ABS plastic rather than metal and in our experience that doesn’t take away from the sturdiness. However, if left in direct sunlight for a long period of time, we have seen them start to sun bleach and that is never good for any plastic. The transit bag also provides another layer of insulation, which should help the fridge run less often.
