Military flatties came with several types of fasteners, so you need to order your new top accordingly. On the left (A) is the more-modern, common fastener called a Lift-The-Dot, which was the spring-loaded fastener common up until about August 1942. It was replaced with the combat stud (B) and rolled-rim fastener (C) at serial number 164554 because the grommets were ripping through the top. To the extreme right is a turn-head fastener (D) that many of us are used to seeing. Your Jeep might have one, a combination of a few, or none of these on it. Whatever the case, Beachwood can handle it.
