To set the new pinion angle you have to adjust lower control arms shorter or upper control arms longer. Normally, on a leaf-sprung application, set the pinion 2 to 3 degrees under to allow for pinion climb under load. On a link-type suspension, shoot for 0 to 1 degrees, since that’s about all the pinion climb you’d get from rubber bushing deflection.
