For our second run, we upped the welder output a bit more and maintained a continuous weld from start to finish traveling left to right. You need a much steadier hand with aluminum than you do with steel. The material wasn’t flat or straight, but still the arrows point out where we fumbled the gun, pulling the weld away from the ends of the joint. You can also tell where we sped up too much just after the second arrow before settling in. It’s just a matter of practice, practice, and more practice to get the feel and nuances down.
