Amp Wiring

Even though I’m good at wiring, I still always label wires when I pull stuff out if there is more than just a positive and a ground, especially when there are no color coded wires. Let’s talk decibels for a second. While the above isn’t a good apples-to-apples (mmm apples, let’s keep the doctor away) comparison, it is pretty impressive. Normally, you need to double power to get 1 more dB out of something. That means if you had 8 dB at 4 watts, you’d need 8 watts to get to 9 dB of output. That means that Kicker amp is cranking more watts out for way less power consumed.
