The third way is a little more complicated but will give you full manual control and the ability to let the stock system work like it did before you messed with it. I’ve shown it here with a single-pole, double-throw, center-off switch to keep it simple. If you wanted, you could go with a double-pole, double-throw, center-off switch and add indicator lights off the other set of contacts so you always know what’s going on. Notice the added fuse on the full-manual side.
