So then I got the bright idea that somehow the factory high beams were “talking” to the factory fog light relay under the hood. Trasborg wanted the lights to shut off with the ignition like stock, so I started looking for stuff here. The factory fog light relay is a five-pole relay and I knew that in a TJ if I bent the number one prong it would defeat the whole deal. The XJ has a different relay and only uses four of the five terminals so that wasn’t going to work. Then I decided to pull the relay cover, plug it back in, and probe it. As I was plugging it back in, the lights came on.
