Without a doubt, EZ Lynk ushers the diesel pickup market into the new age. There is no need to relay your truck’s identifying information (VIN, ECU strategy, TCM strategy) to your tuner any longer in order to receive a custom calibration. As soon as it’s interfaced, the EZ Lynk will automatically recognize your truck, along with its factory ECU and TCM strategies. Perhaps the biggest advocates of EZ Lynk-based tuning are PPEI and GDP Tuning, which offer calibrations for ’11-’16 Ford 6.7L Power Stroke mills and ’11-’16 LML Duramax engines. For trucks with larger injectors and aftermarket turbochargers or for end users with other specific tuning needs, one-off custom calibrations can be created, which (of course) can be emailed to the customer and then uploaded directly into the truck.
