Before you button your engine up, make sure it is at TDC, then don’t rotate the crank. While the Jeep computer does adjust timing on-the-fly, it won’t adjust for a distributor that is more than a few teeth off. Our old distributor had a worn bearing and showed too much slop in the shaft. This one is from 4WD Hardware. The rotor should be pointed at or near the number one plug tower on the cap when installed.
