Whether you’re a night owl or simply find yourself racing into the night, having a good source of light will help ensure safe travel at faster speeds. As many experienced racers already know, you can only drive as fast as your lights and outdriving them will land you on your lid or worse. With the advent of High Intensity Discharge (HID) and now Light Emitting Diode (LED) technologies, turning up the lights has never been better. New optic designs and advancements in lighting technology have made LEDs more efficient, yet HIDs still continue to turn night into day. Today’s cutting edge off-road lighting puts out more candlepower while drawing a fraction of the energy of comparable lights from just a few years ago. Light patterns are also much more tunable, ranging from really extremely wide floods to pencil sharp beams. No matter if you race, chase or play-chances are you will soon find yourself out in the middle of a desolate place needing more light to roll or outshine the competition. Dirt Sports has assembled a collection of the latest performance lighting designed for the rigors of off-road motorsports. Just flip the toggle to illuminate the field.

ARB INTENSITY LED ARB’s new Intensity LED light combines a traditional 8-inch round design with the latest LED lighting technology using SMD type Osram LEDs for increased efficiency and brightness. It features a pressure-die-cast aluminum body that acts as a heat sink and also protects the advanced circuitry. A unique molded rubber seal sits between the 3.5mm hard-coated polycarbonate lens and body, creating a watertight and dustproof seal with IP68 rating (complete protection against dust ingress and submersion beyond 9.75 feet). The ARB Intensity LED Light delivers a penetrating light with 32 LEDs at a color temperature of 6500K, equivalent to daylight. It is available in flood and spot beams.

PIAA LP570 LED PIAA wanted to perfect LED lighting when they designed reflector-facing bulbs and new “first-in-the-industry” reflector technology. The LP570 LED utilizes PIAA’s Reflector Facing Technology (RFT) design, which delivers much greater lighting and beam control compared to conventional LED and halogen lights with forward-facing bulbs. The LP570 LED features a long-range driving light pattern with a brilliant 6000K color temperature output. Its 7 3/16-inch diameter cast aluminum housing is matched with an unbreakable polycarbonate lens. PIAA LED lights are also available in 3.5-inch diameter.
