Trimming of the lower rear driver-side control arm pocket is required to make room for the lowered front differential. Detailed instructions are included with the kit, and they show exactly how much, and where, the material needs to be removed. As you can see here, a reciprocating saw made short work of it. The area was then deburred and painted to resist corrosion.
