5. Here's another tip: The driver-side lower shock bolt was easily accessible, but the passenger-side bolt was blocked by the drag link. This was due to suspension droop from the vehicle being on a lift. To access the bolt, Dinelli disconnected the drag link from the knuckle, which allowed clear access to the bolt. This may not be an issue if you're installing the shocks in your driveway or if your Dodge has a suspension lift. With the lower bolts out, the shocks were removed by lifting them upwards from their location.
