Firstone FAST Air Bag Command System

If you use your truck for more than just hauling tail down the road, then you've likely loaded the bed with enough weight to send the front end pointing skyward. Overloading your truck's bed is extremely dangerous and never advised. Worn-out springs that allow the rear to sag should be addressed. A great answer to your truck's squatting problem is rear helper air bags. The only little issue is that many airbag kits don't come with a compressor. This leaves you constantly searching for an external air pump, which can be a real pain and sometimes isn't even an option.

Luckily Firestone Industrial Products has an affordable and easy-to-use onboard air system designed to give you complete control over your airbags from the comfort of the driver's seat. The Digital Air Command uses a powerful and compact air compressor that is controlled by a digital pushbutton pad. The system offers drivers the option of changing the air pressure individually for uneven loads and is great for those constantly hauling junk in the bed or towing trailers.

Recently we had a chance to install the Digital Air Command on our Cummins-powered '06 Dodge Ram 2500, mating it with our Carli Suspension long-travel helper airbags. After putting a healthy number of miles on the system we were pleased with how consistent and easy it was to use. We also really enjoyed that we no longer had to fill up the airbags from outside the truck.
