Factory shocks work OK with the spacer kit, but we opted for the upgraded Daystar shocks while we were at it. The lower bolt is easy to remove, but the uppers have minimum clearance on the mounting nut. Once the shock is removed the axle can be lowered far enough down with the floor jack, and the coils spring can slip right out. The suspension links and track bar stabilizes the axle so it won’t go anywhere.
