Begin by raising your Jeep on tall jackstands (the vehicle will need to be supported by the frame) with enough clearance to install the new suspension. Remove all wheels and tires, then unbolt the axle U-bolts (you may have to torch or cut them off). When the axle is free, raise it off of the springs with a floor jack or another set of jackstands. With the axle clear of the springs, remove the rear spring hanger bolt and drop the spring. This step, and those which follow, apply to both front and rear spring installations.
