Jeep Wrangler JK Dual-Battery System - 4xForumPosted in How To: Tech Qa on March 7, 2014 Comment (0)
I hope you can help me out. I’ve looked high and low for a complete dual-battery system for my 2010 Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited, but the only kits I’ve found include just the trays and hold downs for the batteries and don’t include all of the wiring, relays, isolators, etc. Is there a company that offers a complete kit or am I left to piece one together from available parts? Can you provide a list of the parts required? Thanks for your help!

Randy, thanks for letter. Yes, there is in fact a complete dual-battery system available for your JK. Even better news, we recently installed the system, and it will be featured in the May 2014 issue. The kit is manufactured by Genesis Offroad ( 214-5337, genesisoffroad.com] in Olive Branch, Mississippi, and includes absolutely everything required (minus batteries) to properly install a dual-battery system in any year Jeep Wrangler JK, two- or four-door. The Genesis Offroad system features completely pre-wired components and includes a short extension harness for the Evap solenoid on ’07-’11 models, which use OEM Delphi connectors—no cutting of factory wires is required. The battery tray itself is designed in 3D CAD and is CNC laser cut and CNC bent for a perfect fit without relocating the factory fuse box or air intake box. The best part? The Genesis Offroad system can be installed in your driveway in two to three hours. We really like this kit. Check out the full article in the upcoming May 2014 issue.
