Replacing the stock box and shaft isn’t necessarily fun, but it’s a simple nuts-and-bolts type of deal. A special tool needed is a pitman arm puller for the old steering box. Since we replace the pump at the same time, we used a special pulley puller on that as well. The most fun is snaking your way up under the power booster to replace the stock steering shaft with the new Borgeson unit.
