Sky’s Offroad Design has a SAS spring hanger kit that welds onto the front of an S-10 frame. It’s definitely a DIY kit so don’t bother looking for directions. The World Wide Web suggested using 2-inch-lift front 44044 Wagoneer springs, but we cheaped out and tried using stock leaves first. While we actually preferred the ride height with the stock leaves and the 35-inch tires didn’t rub, the stock leaves were much too soft and the S-10 had too much body roll. After flattening one leaf and leaving the S-10 with a lean, we stepped up and got the Rancho leaf springs.
