Here is what the inner spindle nut and lock ring look like on the spindle. For reassembly, install the hub/rotor, outer bearing, and inner spindle nut. Tighten the inner nut while spinning the hub. Go until you can’t spin the hub freely (about 50 lb-ft), then back off about 1⁄4-turn. Then you have to insert the lock ring on the spindle and make sure the tang fits in the grove on the spindle and the pin on the inner nut lines up with one of the holes in the lock ring. Then put the last nut on and crank down on that sucker (about 150 lb-ft).
