The Baja ATZs offer a wide footprint, especially when aired down, so they float exceptionally well in all kinds of terrain and especially soft sand. The tires don't have such an aggressive tread pattern that they dig in, getting a vehicle stuck. We found the ATZ a great all-around tire perfectly suited for the terrain many enthusiasts enjoy wheeling on. We had some slight traction issues in deep water and slippery moss-covered river rock and with thick wet grass, but we don't know of any other all-terrain tires that would find traction in the same situations. We still give the ATZs two thumbs up.
