Here we were able to temporarily plug a pretty large gash in the sidewall of a tire. Basically by using many tire plugs we were able to wad up a big old mass that sealed up the cut. When the cut is pretty well filled, we used an air compressor to fill the tire. Once it started filling up, we inserted more plugs using plenty of lubricant (in the little jar) to prevent the plug mass from getting pushed in or out and the T-handled plug driver wherever there was a leak. The plug we installed held for the rest of the trail, but eventually popped out of the cut on the access trail. This type of fix is not permanent and probably should not be driven on-road at all.
