Installing the New AiRock Suspension System

  • Following the supplied instructions, cut the bumpstop towers to leave a 2-inch length, and then remove the upper coil-spring isolator.

  • Remove the front lower mounts from the front air-spring assemblies and use them as templates for marking the center of the lower pad. Drill to a 1/2-inch hole and ensure that the drilled hole matches up with the hole in the mounts when placed over the spring pad.

  • Route the air line through the upper mount and seat it in the fitting.
  • Install the upper mount washer and retaining nut and tighten.
  • Maneuver the axle with a floor jack to position the lower driver-side air-spring stud through the lower mounts, and then install a 1/2-inch Nylock nut until seated. Do not tighten this nut completely.

  • Due to the location of the track-bar mount, it is difficult to gain access to the passenger-side lower mount to install the lower air-spring mount nut. Off Road Only supplies a hose tool to start the nut, or you can use a crow's foot or small swivel socket and tape. Remember not to completely tighten.
