  • With the air springs in place, install the Bilstein shocks, replace the tires and lower the front tires to the ground. Using the ICC, inflate both front air springs to approximately 45 psi, or until the weight of the vehicle is partially supported by the air springs. This will allow the air springs to seat properly. Tighten the lower mounting nuts at this time.

Maneuver the rear axle with a floor jack to insert the lower air-spring studs through the new holes and install the lower nuts. Insert the air lines into the fittings on air springs, install the kit's Bilstein shock absorbers, tires and antiroll-bar links and lower the vehicle until the tires are sitting on the ground. It is recommended that the front suspension height be adjusted so that the front shocks are setting in the center of their overall travel, then the rear suspension is adjusted so the vehicle sets level. Take note of the pressures because this is your ride-height pressure. With this set, have your vehicle's suspension aligned so that the vehicle drives straight at the normal ride height.
