 The heart of the welder is...  The heart of the welder is the high-output alternator. For our application the unit was a direct replacement of the stock unit. The stock charge wire must be taped off and the old exciter wire is attached to the new control-box harness. You then make one power and one ground connection to the control-box harness and plug in the alternator wires. |
 The final step of the installation...  The final step of the installation is to connect the welder control-box harness to the batterys positive and negative terminals and install the throttle cable. |
