David Chappell descended into Hell’s Gate with his ’99 Isuzu Amigo sporting a swapped-in Dana 60 front axle and Currie Rock Jock rearend. The front axle runs a Yukon Spartan Locker, the rear an ARB Air Locker. The 5.38:1 gears spin 37-inch Falken mud-terrain tires mounted to freshly powdercoated gold Raceline wheels. Under the hood is the stock 3.2-liter V-6, which is followed by a five-speed transmission. The manual trans turns torque into a divorce-mounted dual Toyota mini-truck cases mated with a Trail Gear doubler. The suspension is custom-built and features a cantilever system in the rear.
